Red Ink
Your AI multitool with 100+ functions and use cases that gets the most out of all your favorite LLM directly within Windows Word, Excel, Outlook and your browser – get real with AI!
Can your AI Tool cope with Red Ink?
Can the AI solution you use for your general daily use or industry-specific applications (e.g., use in a lawfirm) cope with the features and functionality of Red Ink?
Find it out yourself by completing the feature comparison on the right. If you want to find out more about the features, consult the manuals, use “Help me, Inky” within Red Ink, or watch the videos below (they do not show all features, though).
For example, we believe that (as of our tests run on January 10, 2026), Microsoft Copilot for M365 gains about a handful of checkmarks. ChatGPT Teams even less. Yet, you can use the same large-language models these solutions use also with Red Ink.
If you believe we are wrong, let us know.
If your AI tool really keeps up with Red Ink, we would like to know, as well.
Let us be the architects who build with AI, not the janitors in the structures it creates. This is why I wanted to have Red Ink.

Use within Edge/Chrome
Have your personal chatbot directly in your browser. Access all models through a dropdown menu without needing to log in. You can also submit prompts “purely” (without a system prompt). The Edge/Chrome add-in allows you to translate web content, draft or correct text in web forms, and analyze selected text, including large PDFs.*
Use with 3rd Party Sources
Practical use case: “Verify the statements in the document with current case law” is the command the user types into to the Red Ink chatbot that sits within Word. It immediately searches for Swiss court rulings in Lexi Search and provides a detailed answer based on them. The user asks it to supplement their text in Word based on this. The chatbot adds a sentence in track changes. The model used is GPT 5.2 (with Tooling). The source is the Lexi Search Swiss court decision database service (with semantic search).* Video credit: Lexi Search

For more, see here. *
For key features introduced in Release 1.1 see here.

Beats Copilot by far.
I tried to have ChatGPT create a markup. It told me it couldn’t. Then I did it with Red Ink.
Wow!
The program is brilliant! You don’t have to upload anything, but can instruct directly from Word, Excel or Outlook, and as a layman, thanks to your preset commands, you are naturally guided to what you frequently need. The ‘Quick Reference’ is also a joy.
